Coaching Volunteer Managers

North West Network (NWN) coaches provide one to one support to volunteer managers to help them develop their skills, knowledge and attitude in order to increase the quality of volunteering in their organisations.

"I am able to undertake my role with more confidence, more creativity and structure.” A Volunteer Manager that has been through NWN’s Coaching.

Volunteer managers taking part in the Big Coaching Project can receive this support for a period of six months and/or to a maximum of twelve coaching sessions. Coaching sessions are one to one, non-judgemental and are specific to the volunteer managers needs. Volunteer managers set the agenda, find their own solutions to problems or achieve their own goals around volunteer management.

"I am now able to provide more sustainable and appropriate support to volunteers, more flexibility in my approach. I am able to deal more effectively with difficult situations”. A Volunteer Manager that has been through NWN’s Coaching

"I am much more positive and enthusiastic about my role, which makes a more productive atmosphere for everyone”. A Volunteer Manager that has been through NWN’s Coaching
