Nominations are now open for the Compact Awards 2008. These annual awards demonstrate the Compact in action, and recognise and celebrate excellent partnership working. With the exception of the award for Compact Champion of the Year, nominations must be for joint partnership work. Short-listing and judging will take place during September 2008 and the awards will be announced and presented at an awards ceremony during Compact Week (1 to 8 November 2008). The nomiation categories include: Local Compact of the Year Award, Compact Award for Excellence at a Regional Level, Compact Award for Excellence at a National Level, Compact Champion of the Year Award, The Commissioner's Award. Closing date for entries is 29 August 2008.
