This event is being held at the Bridgewater Hall, Lower Mosley Street, Manchester, M2 3WS on 11 March 2010. This is a joint event lead by the Equality and Human Rights Commission, partners include the North West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (NWIEP), Business Link, the North West Development Agency (NWDAi), the North Western Local Authorities' Employers' Organisation (NWEO), Greater Manchester Chamber is the largest Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), NHS, The Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary Sector Organisations (CEMVO), Acas (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) and local authorities from across the region.
The event aims to inform and explain top recruiters and suppliers the legal requirements and opportunities that exist under the new legislation. Through good practical examples and case studies it will seek to demonstrate the practical benefits i.e. improved service delivery, expanded employment opportunities, supplier diversity & opportunities for local business. The event will help you gain a better understanding of opportunities and challenges of embedding E&D into the supply chain.
