North West Network held a briefing event on 29 April 2008 on European funding in the North West: The 2007-2013 Programme. The aim of the briefing event was to raise awareness among Third Sectori groups of European funding streams available in the North West. The event was split into three presentations, the first one provided information about the objectives of the funds and the new policy context and what the new funds pay for. The second presentation provided information about the new application processes for the funds and went through the new procedures and implementation arrangements providing a wealth of resources on where to find information about the funds. The third part focused on how North West Network links with the regional EUi structures and invited organisations to get involved in the process.
