This is a joint event lead by the Equality and Human Rights Commission, partners include the North West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (NWIEP), Business Link, the North West Development Agency (NWDAi), the North Western Local Authorities' Employers' Organisation (NWEO), Greater Manchester Chamber is the largest Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), NHS, The Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary Sector Organisations (CEMVO), Acas (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) and local authorities from across the region.

The National Apprenticeship Service will provide up to 5,000 Apprenticeship Grants for Employers of 16 and 17 year olds (AGE 16 and 17) with a value of £2,500 to encourage employers to take on unemployed 16-17 year olds as apprentices.
