This event will be held on the afternoon of 27 June 2008 in Manchester. In celebration of the outstanding achievements of the 2000-2006 ESFi Programme in the North West and to officially launch the 2007-2013 ESF Programme, the co-financingi organisations Jobcentre Plus and the Learning and Skills Council are to host a celebration event. A key part of this celebration will be an awards ceremony, designed to recognise the achievements of both the organisations which made this programme a success and the individual beneficiaries whose lives have been changed by their participation. The LSCi is now inviting projects to submit entries for the following categories:

• Awards for Beneficiaries:
  • Multiple Barriers
  • Personal Achievement
  • Carer’s
  • Individual Workforce Skills
  • There will also be the Overall Achievement Award

• Awards for Providers:
  • Innovation (with employers)
  • Innovation (with beneficiaries)
  • Embracing Diversity
  • Excellence

Selection Process
The panel of judges will select winners for each category and identify the Overall Achievement and Excellence Award. The Panel will be headed up by Shay O’Rourke, Head of the ESF Programme, Government Office for the North West. For further information on categories nominations please click here:
