DG Regional Policy has launched a website indicating regions that have published lists of beneficiaries, as they are required to do in line with the new communication requirements for Cohesion Policy over the 2007-2013 programming period.

Under the rules governing the implementation of the funds 2007-2013 (ECi No 1828/2006) all direct beneficiaries of European Cohesion policy have to be published by the Managing Authorities. The information must contain the name of the beneficiaryi, the names of the operations and the amount of public funding allocated to the operations.

This is part of a Commission initiative to improve transparency over the EUi budget and the impact of investment. The site will be updated on the basis of information received from Member States.
